STORE POLICIES

We now require payment at the time of class or crop registration.  There will be a $1.00 service fee if you register over the phone with a credit card.  If you cancel a class at least 48 hours in advance, we will issue a store credit for a future class.  If we cancel a class or crop, we will issue a refund or issue a store credit – your choice.  If a class is paid for and you are unable to attend, you are welcome to pick up a class kit if one is available.  Many times, however, technique classes do not come with directions and you use store product.  In such cases there is no class kit available.

Pre-registration is required for all classes. Call 857-4998 to register for classes and workshops. Pre-pay for classes at least 24 hours in advance and receive 10% off your purchases the day of the class. Payment is required to sign up for all day crops. Credit will be given for cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance.  We may cancel if less than 4 participants are signed up. We are unable to accept credit card payments over the phone, so please stop by the store to sign up or send a check by mail to Scrapbook King N More, 41 N. Ivy Street, Medford, OR 97501.

Reminder:  Bring a basic tool kit to all classes except the beginning & SDU classes.  Kit should include:  Paper Trimmer, Scissors, Tweezers, Favorite Adhesive, pencil, and bone folder.  Black Ink pad for stamping classes.  Book making kit should include the above plus an awl, cutting mat and exacto knife. Beginning Stamping Dye 101 and Pigment 101 are required classes for new stampers.

Class Descriptions

Classes Classes Classes  

ACRYLIC TRANSFER CLASS This class features a variety of techniques that range from “Oh so simple” to “Wow, how did you do that?”  Leave with several samples and a lot of fresh new ideas.  Bring your basic tool kit, Teflon craft sheet, palette knife, utility brushes, dryer source and an apron. Inst Sue, 7/13 or 8/10 $20.00

ALCOHOL INKS REVISITED  These inks color so many surfaces; plastic, glass, embossing powders, metal and paper (plus more!)  We will work with above mentioned surfaces so you’ll have several samples to take home.  Wear an apron, disposable gloves are optional. Inst  Sue   7/23   Cost $10

ATC WORKSHOP  Come spend the day in this non-instructional workshop making and trading ATCs.  We will provide the use of stamps, non-consumables and paper scraps.  You bring everything else.  Share in the fun!  See what others “Bring to the table”.  Spend the day or just an hour or two. From 3-4 PM, Sue will present a free in-depth demo on all the ways you can alter chipboard. Inst. Sue 8/8   10-6  Cost $1.00/hr

BEGINNING STAMPING TIPS & TOOLS This class is for the beginner & intermediate stamper, as well as scrappers that want to stamp on their layouts.  Ronda will share her knowledge of dye inks, pigment inks, embossing and so much more.  Bring basic tool kit. BIRDS OF A FEATHER Learn to make your own background papers with Glimmer Mists and botanical masks. Using these backgrounds, you will design “2” cards with music, newsprint, inks and embellishments. Bring your basic tool kit, Teflon craft sheet, pencil, wet & dry adhesives, a threader, colored pencils. CRICUT - FRESH OUT OF THE BOX   A very basic “how to “ class for new Cricut owners.  We will go over basic features of the Cricut, make a cheat sheet of creative options and share tips & techniques.  Bring your Cricut, ALL THE PRODUCTS YOU GOT WITH IT,  and your basic tool kit.  Inst. Gloria 7/15 cost $10.00

CRICUT – BEYOND THE BASICS   Once you know the basics of your machine, come to this class and learn about layering, sizing and the creative keys.  Bring your Cricut, cartridges and basic tool kit.  Inst. Gloria 8/7 cost $15.

EXPRESS YOURSELF-GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR WILDCARD CARTRIDGE Explore all aspects of this cartridge, layering, making cards, envelopes or scrapbook pages using icons, frames, phrases & liners to add flair to any paper creation. Bring your own basic tool kit, Cricut & Wild Card cartridge. Inst Lori 7/10 $15.00

EXPRESS YOURSELF-CREATIVE PARTY PLANNING USING YOUR BUG Create one-of-a-kind party/event invitations, thank-you cards, decorations, table settings, goodie bags and favors.  Bring your Celebration cartridge and choose your own theme (Mickey, paper dolls, Cars etc). Bring your Cricut, cartridges, basic tool kit and a 12x24 mat. Inst Lori 7/25 $30.00

EXPRESS YOURSELF-ALBUM MAKING WITH YOUR BUG Bring a handful of your favorite cartridges, a large stack of photos, your basic tool kit and of course your Cricut.  Also bring any specific pattern paper and embellishments you will want to use.  We will explore various ways to create a wonderfully unique album in four short hours.  You will go home with a completed 6x6 album. FUNKY, FRIENDLY, FOTO BOOK This is a one of a kind memory book of journaling, pictures and “Funky Stuff” in pockets and parts unique to your own design.  Bring basic tool kit. Inst Kristen 7/31 $15.00

GRIDDIES Prepare your page by stamping & embellishing, then cutting into squares.  You are now ready to form a grid pattern on a card and/or scrapbook page.  Bring 1 sheet of 12x12 small print paper, basic tool kit, 1 ¼” punch and favorite stamps. KLASSES FOR KIDS  or WEEBLE’S WEDNESDAY Encourage the practice of basic skills through crafting.  Every Wed in July and Aug we will offer a simple project that once made, can be shared with friends and remade over and over again throughout the summer.  Projects will emphasize measuring and following both written and verbal directions.  Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.  Project samples may be seen in the store or on our website the week of class.  And, we are right around the corner from the Medford YMCA.  Bring basic tool kit. LAMINATE COLLAGE Stamp on both sides of laminate paper in this unique process.  Embellish with Versamagic Inks, Pearl Ex, and gold leaf to achieve a fabulous finish. Bring basic kit & Krylon pens. Inst Sue 8/27  $15 Click on Image for a larger view.

SCRAPPING WITH YOUR BUG Learn how to incorporate any design/die-cuts from your cartridges into unique layouts, accents and embellishments.  Bring your Cricut, basic tool kit & cartridges. Inst Lori 8/9 $15.00

SEW HEAVENLY So, here is one more way to use that wonderful non-paper “paper” aka Sheer Heaven.  Some resist, color washes , a piece of canvas and the sewing machine complete this project. Bring basic tool kit. Inst Sue 7/18 or 8/20 $10.00

STICKING WITH BEAUTY A new take on a popular art.  We will be making those famously beautiful dimensionalized cards using new stickers from the Netherlands – yes, art from across the sea!! Bring basic tool kit. Inst Kristen, 8/3 or 8/21 $12.00

TEACHER’S SURVIVAL KIT Start the school year off right by presenting your child’s new teacher a great little survival kit.  Everything is included in this quick class, a bucket, supplies, a clever little poem and all the survival ingredients. Bring basic tool kit. Inst Gloria 8/28 $12.00

TECHNIQUES ON TUESDAY –ALTERED BOOK ROUND ROBIN   A four week progressive class where we will work out of our own books and the books of others on a rotational basis.  Pick up a detailed class description and student materials list at time of sign up. TECHNIQUES ON TUESDAY-MIXED MEDIA ART QUILT  Using Tim Holtz’ new Grunge paper, this will be a  three week progressive class applying textures, colors and  new techniques.  Pick up a detailed class description and student supply list at time of sign up.  Limited class size. CROP, CRAFT, CREATE  Do something nice for yourself!  Our classroom is open on Thursdays from 10 –4 or 10-6.  Join us and work on the craft of your choice.  Enjoy the social benefits, make friends and enjoy something fun as well as being productive.  You can scrap, stamp, knit, crochet – you name it.  Maybe we will all learn something new.  FREE

TWELVE/TWELVE CROP A perfect opportunity to finish projects for those of you who don’t have the time or the space to scrap at home.  Call a friend and schedule yourselves a day of fun.  You will enjoy 12 hours of cropping fun.  We will provide table space, snacks and plenty of tools and die cutting systems.  7/11 & 8/22  cost $12.00
